Gas Flowmeter Calibration / Repair

Carl Stuart Ltd is the authorised agent for the calibration and repair of Agilent's Gas Flowmeters. We provide a full Gas Flowmeter Calibration and repair service for a variety of flowmeters including Agilent, Varian, Humonics, J&W, and Perkin Elmer.

Prior to accepting an instrument into our Flowmeter Calibration department, you must complete a Flowmeter Returns Form. On completion of this form, you will be sent a Returns Authorisation by e-mail, to be included with the flowmeter being returned for repair/calibration.

Flowmeter Returns Form

1. It is very important that the details contained on the Flowmeter Calibration Returns Form are accurate, ensuring traceability and optimum repair / calibration lead-time



2. Keep a note of the returns authorisation number issued to you, as this can be used to easily identify your flowmeter within our customer management database



3. Before any repair is carried out, you will be informed of the nature and cost of the repair. You will then be required to authorise the repair, prior to it being carried out



4. On receipt of your authorisation, your unit is checked for correct operation and any faults are repaired



5. When fully operational, your flowmeter is then calibrated to the manufactures' specifications

Flowmeters Calibrated:

• Veriflow 500 units: As a Carl Stuart customer, you can select a one, two or four-gas type calibration with Hydrogen, Helium, Nitrogen /Air or 5% Argon Methane
• Optiflow 420, 520, 570 and 650 units are calibrated using Nitrogen/Air gas only. The Optiflow 1000 is calibrated using distilled water only
• ADM 1000, 2000 and 3000 units are calibrated using Nitrogen/Air only

• Repair costs include the labour and testing charges but excludes all parts required
• You are required to authorise any repair before it is carried out
• Equipment calibration turnover time is approximately 1 week
• If for any reason we experience a delay (i.e. supplier delays, parts issues), we will inform you as soon as possible

Shipping Costs:

The cost of shipping instruments will be charged at cost. Carl Stuart Ltd uses the shipping agent DHL for its shipments. If you have a preferred shipping agent or account, this must be stated on the comments section of the Flowmeter Returns Form.
