At Carl Stuart Ltd, we're offering the new TKA laboratory Smart2Pure water purification instruments, designed to produce both 18.2MΩ.cm water and 10-15MΩ.cm water directly from the mains tap water. 18.2MΩ.cm water is produced on demand from the point of dispense (through a 0.2µm filter) at a flowrate of 1 litre/hour, whilst 10-15MΩ.cm water is produced and stored in the built in 6 litre water storage tank, with integrated recirculation (to maintain the water purity).

• For routine laboratory work requiring 18.2MΩ.cm water : Smart2Pure Standard
• For work, which is sensitive to bacteria and endotoxins : Smart2Pure UF (with ultra-filtration module)
• Where total organic carbon TOC is a concern (e.g. HPLC and IC) : Smart2Pure UV
• For molecular biology, tissue cell culture work and highly sensitive trace analysis : Smart2Pure UF/UV (Combining both ultra-filtration and a UV lamp)

All of these instruments produce and store 10-15MΩ.cm water for applications such as reagent make up, glassware washing etc.
