Reverse Osmosis System

The utilisation of one of our TKA reverse osmosis (RO) systems will significantly increase the lifetime of ion exchange cylinders, which are connected directly to the mains tap water. TKA RO membranes will remove 97-99% of the dissolved inorganic salts (particles, pyrogens and bacteria) in the mains water.

Positioning our Self-Contained RO unit before the ion exchange cylinders will reduce the amount of dissolved salts that need to be exchanged by the ion exchange resin and as a direct result the life time of the ion exchange cylinders will dramatically increase.

The quality of the RO water is assured, by a fully automatic rinse cycle with permeate discard, which routinely self cleans the RO membrane. With ready to connect RO systems starting from 20 litres/hour through to 12,000 litres/hour, an RO system to meet your requirements can easily be found. The return on investment of the cost of RO system, should soon be realised, by the money saved paying for the regeneration of the ion exchange cylinders.
