Water Softeners

Water softening is based on ion exchange. TKA water softeners use caution ion exchange to exchange sodium ions for calcium and magnesium (hardness forming) ions. The water softeners are filled with a synthetic resin, which is regenerated with common salt. The regeneration of the ion exchange resin is automatically carried out at a definite and set time. Single water softening systems are available for discontinuous (batch) usage and twin water softening systems are available for when a continuous supply of softened water is required.
